These terms cover buying from this store. Ordering means accepting them.
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract exists when we email you a dispatch confirmation, not at checkout. If something is mispriced or out of stock after you order, we will contact you and refund in full rather than substitute silently.
Prices and payment
Prices include VAT where applicable and exclude delivery, which is shown before you pay. Payment is taken at checkout by our payment provider. Orders outside the UK may attract import duty and local tax on arrival, payable by the recipient.
Age recommendations and supervision
Our products are working tools scaled for children. Each kit carries a minimum age and, where relevant, a requirement for adult supervision. Those are safety requirements, not marketing. Please read the instructions before a child uses a kit, and keep small parts away from children under three unless the kit is rated for them.
Cancellation and returns
You may cancel within 30 days of delivery under our returns policy, which sits alongside — and does not replace — your statutory cancellation rights.
Faults and guarantees
We replace or refund kits that fail in normal use within 12 months. Damage caused by misuse, by ignoring the age rating, or by unsupervised use of a kit that requires supervision is not covered.
Intellectual property
The content of this site — text, photography, and the Red Toolbox name and logo — belongs to us or our licensors. Licensed brand names and marks belong to their owners and are used under licence. Do not reuse them without permission.
Liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protections of your local law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
